Enforcer Equipment Questions
What is a Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS)?
A Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) is an advanced firefighting technology that combines water, foam concentrate, and compressed air to create a high-quality foam that provides superior fire suppression capabilities. The system produces foam with a 20:1 expansion ratio, meaning you get 20 times more firefighting agent than water alone.
How much FIREBULLĀ® concentrate does an EnforcerĀ® CAFS unit use?
We recommend that the unit is mixed at 3% which means 3 parts foam to 97 parts water. For example, a 10-gallon tank would require 0.3 gallons (about 38 ounces) of FIREBULL concentrate. If using FIREBULLĀ® Freeze Protected Pre-Mix, you would fill the unit to full capacity as it is pre-mixed and not a concentrate.
What UL certifications do Enforcer systems have?
Our Enforcer systems are UL 711 certified:
- Enforcer 10: UL 711 20:B certified
- Enforcer 30: UL 711 10:A and 60:B certified
- Enforcer 60: UL 711 10:A and 60:B certified
- Enforcer 200: UL 711 10:A and 60:B certified
How portable are Enforcer systems?
All Enforcer systems are designed for maximum portability. Our smaller units (3 and 10 gallon) can be easily transported by hand or in vehicles. Larger systems (30, 60, and 200 gallon) are available in wheeled or skid-mounted configurations for easy deployment. All systems feature minimal working parts for reliable operation in field conditions.
FIREBULL Product Questions
What makes FIREBULL foam fluorine-free?
FIREBULL products are formulated without per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), making them environmentally friendly and biodegradable. This fluorine-free formulation provides effective fire suppression while protecting groundwater and reducing environmental impact.
What concentration should I use for different fire types?
Concentration depends on the fire type:
- 1%: Light fuels, training exercises
- 3%: Most common fires, general suppression
- 6%: Heavy hydrocarbons, severe fires
Use our Mix Calculator to determine exact amounts needed.
How long does FIREBULL concentrate last?
When stored properly in a sealed container, FIREBULL concentrate has a shelf life of 25 years. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Once mixed with water, the solution should be used within recommended timeframes based on storage conditions.
